    Yeah, yeah

So what if it's been awhile since the last time I wrote? I'm a busy girl!

Since I left you last, I had my NY interview. While I was interviewing with Glasgow, they told me that they would probably not be able to offer me a position directly into their second year, since they only had 5 places available for that and those were usually given to U.K. students because they are familiar with the testing system, etc. However, they said, they were impressed with my application and interview and would let me know by the 20th of February, at which point I should be expecting an offer into their first year. Needless to say, that was a very satisfactory way to spend an interview! After our New York experience (which Miranda so beautifully portrayed), I spent Wednesday walking around Princeton. I saw the graves of Aaron Burr, Jonathan Edwards, and John Witherspoon, and generally relaxed.

Thursday, I went to D.C. for the informational lunch with the University of Edinburgh. There, they explained that the reason so many of us had been accepted into the second year is that they just started the Graduate Entry Programme (GEP), specifically designed for students with an applicable 1st degree (like biology). It sounds like a really cool program. programme? I should probably start spelling like a Scot. Thursday night was again eloquently described by Miranda.

Friday, I flew home and was picked up by the lovely and selfless Jasmine, who is the sunlight on my wheat and the water to my desert lands.

Saturday, I got an email from the University of Glasgow. It read:
"We reviewed all the applications last night, and we would be delighted to make you an offer to study at Glasgow, commencing this September. We are happy to make you an offer straight into the Second Year of the course here at Glasgow."
    Sweet!

Anyway, now I need to figure out what school I'm attending this summer. THIS SUMMER. I was going to try and visit the schools over Matt's spring break, but the money came up short.

In the meantime, SpokanePetMedicinePlace has been having some very unusual and disgusting procedures, in which I have been able to take part. Can anyone say "manual fecal extraction"? Read the part on obstipation. Blech.

Lacey K. Awesome is in town for about a week, and that makes me happy.

Alright, I need to go frost a cake for Teri's surprise b-day party this afternoon.

I think that's it for now. I made this and this, and they were both AMAZING.
