    Random Fires
    4 pathogens detected
So yesterday, when I was making a grilled cheese sandwich, I accidentally set the pan to 5 instead of 3. While I was slicing cheese, I smelled smoke and looked over just in time to see the olive oil in the pan catch on fire!

Thankfully, I remembered enough of my babysitting safety course, oh, 10 years ago that I knew what to do. I covered the fire in the pan, turned off the heat, and moved the pan to a cold burner. Then I ate an ungrilled cheese sandwich for lunch.

Today, when driving to Planned Parenthood to replenish my free birth control, I happened to look to my right at a light just in time to see a young woman throw a lit cigarette into a trashcan! I was as surprised by her act as the police officer driving directly behind me, I think.

Anyone else want to set some fires?
