So, yeah. Maybe I haven't existed on Blogger lately. I've been busy, alright? First I was in L.A. (blech and double blech, except for horseback riding and seeing my sister, and Kayla) for two weeks. Then we got back here, and had houseguests for the past week! A.J. and Rachelle came to Spokevegas to visit us, much to my delight. They really are the Coolest Freaking People in the universe. Some highlights:-Playing a billion games of Scrabble, Upwords, Fluxx, and one memorable game of Clue
-Hanging out at Riverfront Park
-Going to visit Dr. Mike and Teri at the farm
-Watching *Guess Who's Coming to Dinner* and marveling at Sidney Poitier's hotness
-Eating Tomato Street, Thai Bamboo, Europa, Dick's, Clayton Burger, and Twigs, and making baked goods
-Spending time with two wonderful people that I am blessed to call friends. I even call one of them family! Hopefully, both of them will one day share that title... ahem. sorry. stepping off the yenta podium.
Yay! I also went back to the clinic, which is good. In addition, I have been giving myself ulcers about vet schools. Here's the breakdown:

There, are you happy? I just realized that the cake I was baking had accidentally been set at 400 instead of 350. Dang it! Burnt cake!

I don't see why you're even considering schools that don't rhyme with Poshington State University (close to me) or that are located in Scotland (accents, tea, amazing beer, I will visit with mom). Seriously.

CAKE UPDATE: IT WAS TERRIFIC.

If you get into U Penn you should go there. Philadelphia is awesome and it is only an hour away from me. But all those other schools are good too, I guess.

I vote for Indiana! We'd be almost neighbors, and I could use a good dose of Jeni!
