Alright, is this or is this not a blog dedicated (in part) to Harry Potter? Sorry, all you that had come to expect such goodies. Here's my Harry post of the day (or month, as the case may be):Matt and I are going to be Hogwarts students for Halloween this year. I am trying to find a pattern for some robes, but it's turning out to be quite a challenge. Does anyone know if such a pattern exists? At this point, my thoughts are turning fabric from a wonderful robe into a poncho-esque thing. This is wrong for a few reasons:
1. In the books, the robes definitely have a front opening.
2. They also have inner and outer pockets.
3. They also have sleeves.
Hmmm... any ideas? I am not a seamstress, but I can follow directions pretty well.

You could probably find a pattern for a wizard robe with all the halloween stuff at the fabric store. Add some pockets, and voila, people will be mistaking you for Hermione left and right!

I think I want to be Ginny, actually. More spicy, less brainy...
