Do you think that people are more inclined toward boredom, or more inclined to want to keep things static?Example: When God led the Israelites out of Egypt, they were thankful for awhile, but they became bored and forgot about God's act of mercy on them, instead desiring a new and improved situation. However, in Hosea God laments Israel's inability and unwillingmess to change her whore-ish ways.
Are we more likely to become bored and want something new and fresh, or are we more likely to want to stick to what is familiar and easy, even if thosecharacteristics are toxic to our well-being?
Or is it that we want new and fresh things from our environment and the people aound us, but we don't want to have to change ourselves in the process?
I want to hear y'all's opinion on this.
Sorry it's been awhile since my last post.
Vet school apps still make me want to cry.

I've always been one to strive for orderliness, and then as soon as things are settled, I'd get bored.
But, I don't think that people can live very well in utter chaos either.
Case in point. I lived in a maintenance free home, was bored and restless. I bought a needy Victorian, and now I long for order again :)
