Alright, here's what's been up with me lately:

I started work on Tuesday at Deep Park Veterinary Clinic. I muck 16 stalls a day, dump, scrub, and refill water buckets, and generally clean and organize things. Also, I occasionally got to do fun stuff, like testing 50 cows for pregnancy (and as Matt so beautifully pointed out, you don't do it using the little urine strip either :)). I got to hold a horse the other day while a hematoma (huge blood blister) was being drained, and I got drenched! Seriously, I looked like that girl in Carrie. But for the most part, I clean and scrub and disinfect, then do that all again.

I am frustrated because they were supposed to give me 40 hours a week, but when I got my work schedule for June, they only had me at 9 hours a week! When I asked what was up, they told me that they had received a large and unexpected influx of volunteers, and they needed to divide up the week. So I need to find another vet job up here, or I have to go down to L.A. and find one down there. Bummer.

On Friday, Matt and I went over to Montana for Lacey's sister's wedding. Friday night, Matt and I got split up. He went with the boys and played Halo for 4 hours, and I went with the girls. Crystal opened all her lingerie, and then we watched a movie. Oh, and some male strippers came. I got a great picture of Crystal and them!

Saturday was the wedding, which matt and I thought was at 11 am, but was apparently at 5 pm. But it was a beautiful wedding, Crystal looked like a princess, Thaiv is a great guy, etc.

I have been SLOWLY getting packed and moving stuff over to the Sardinia's. I think I may be driving Dr. Mike insane.
