Alright, as AJ correctly pointed out, the "tomorrow" in that last blog stretched out a few days. The genetics test was doom (it was a 9 page, 4 hour long test that was not a midterm OR a final!), but I think I did okay. Actually, I saw my genetics prof in Borders last night, and she assures me that she remembered putting no lower than a 50% in her gradebook. How reassuring. On Friday, I took the first animal phys test (also doom- 3 essays- 3 pages each- in 55 minutes), and then started the riveting weekend. On Friday evening, I was part of a developmental biology study party in the science library until 8:30 p.m. (for emphasis, I will restate that this was a FRIDAY NIGHT). I then went to see The Passion (see Matt's blog for a commentary) and fell asleep about one a.m.. Saturday morning, I woke up at 9 and proceeded to study for the developmental test on Monday from 9:30 am Saturday until 1:31 a.m. Sunday! I took a 1.5 hour break for dinner, but still. Today, I woke up at 6:30 a.m., went to church from 8:15 to 10:00, then came home and studied until 6:30 p.m.. I am about ready to kill myself, but I still need to study a bunch more.
Probably the most frustrating thing is that Andrew Seely is in town this weekend and only this weekend. I got to pick him up at the airport on Friday, and I have not seen him once since then. Dump! I was so excited to have him up here, too.
On the up side, I just had an amazing talk with my brother. He went to see The Passion, and he called me to talk about it. He said that it really helped him put some ideas about Christ and his sacrifice into perspective. I love him so much. I pray for him, that he will seek God in his life. He is getting out of the army in about a month, but in the meantime they are making his life really crappy. So pray for him, that God would be his sustainer during these trials.
Alright, back to work. But if anyone feels the burning desire to call me or write me to say hello, feel free!
