Oh, look! I actually get to post today! It has been a good day. I woke up feeling very sour, like all I wanted to do was a. sleep or b. repeatedly kick a small dog. However, there has been a lot of funniness today, so that makes things better. Also, I realized (with the help of Katie during Brit Lit) that I don't have any more assignments due for the next 8.5 weeks! YAHOO!!!! It's funny to me that I love college, and learning, and even classes, but I hate homework so much. "It's called 'a cruel irony'..." Anyway, I am uber-excited to be home on my was home on a week, even though i wont actually be there for about 8.5 days... i love driving from Spokane to L.A. Actually, this will be the longest solo trip I've ever done, from Spokane to Davis, where I pick up Kiz-ayla for the drive down CA. However, I will be caravaning with some fello cali folk, so it wont be too scary to be driving in the snowiest part of the drive, alone, at night... praypraypray! I am faithful that all will go well. I am gonna miss all you spokangeles folk during the break, though... i have a sneaking suspicion that all of the Charis girls are gonna bond with Lacey during Jan term then i'm gonna come back and they're gonna be like, "who are you?" and I'm gonna have to move to Beyond or something... oh, well. I have approximately zero motivation to go to animal behavior, as sleeping sounds infinitely more interesting and productive. Maybe i'll go get a special tea (read:caffeine) from Stan's before class. It is so gray and cold here right now. yesterday it was raining, but there is none of that today. I heard that this is the first time since the 70's that there was no snow on the ground in spokane all of november. i suppose i should be thankful, since that might mean that driving conditions are better on the way down, but snow might cheer up a very depressed campus right now. Last night was spa night, which was fabulous. all of us m.c.'s had a rockin time serving our residents and fellow leadership folk. I did facials and foot washing/ massage all night, so my hands are very soft today. i expected to be sicked out by the foot thing due to my anti-foot fetish, but i guess having them soak in hot, soapy water for awhile made it less disgusting. Alright, class should really happen soon, or i might be unhappy with the results. i have a death lit study sesson tonight from dust to dust, but i should survive, since mary and beth are studying with me. yay for finals week! lacey and were coordinating schedules today. rock on!
