Well, I had an exciting weekend.

At 2:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, I woke up with very bad stomach pains. When they started to localize on the lower right side of may abdomen, Matt and I decided to take me to urgent care. They thought it might be appedicitis (bad news), so they sent me in for an ultrasound last night and a CT scan this morning. Fortunately, they came up negative, so Jeni doesn't get a cool appendectomy scar. Unfortunately, this means I have (probably) a really bad kidney infection or UTI that's just breaking me down. Blast.

So, no HW got done this weekend, which is always a bummer, and Matt and I were both sick, which sucks. Also, our house is a pit.

But I think I'm starting to understand "physicks" (so appropriately named by Kayla)!! Hooray!!

Hey, did you know my parents are getting married this spring break? To each other. after being divorced for 13 years. Weird. I told Matt I should become a justice of the peace and perform the ceremony to complete the soap opera-ness of it all.

In other news, physics is hard for me. I failed (an F, less than 40 percent, etc.) a test on Monday. A test that I studied for almost 15 hours (total, over several days) for. Blast. Other classes are going well. I got an A on my first molecular biology exam, I think I did well on my p-chem 2 class, and I actually really like CORE 350 (ethics and policy making course that every Whit-student has to take).

Money is an issue, as always.

The good news: I might have a job this summer teaching riding lessons!
The bad news: my riding experience always seem so much more pitiful when I have to detail it to someone. "I have jumped a whopping 4'3"... shown at some shows... taught people how to trot and go over jumps the size of their dogs... and I charged more than you doing it... you should hire me."

Sigh. Can someone please do my life for me for awhile?

Alright, here's my mini-blogger-rant for the day. Be warned that I am in a catty mood today.

I understand small typos. I even understand occasional grammatical errors. Hey, we're all busy, right? I know it takes an awful lot of time to put that apostophe in.

But I have my limits. Guys, blogger GIVES you a spellcheck. and God GAVE you a functioning cerebrum.

Please, please spellcheck. It makes me not want to read when every entry is fraught with jr. high level word comprehension.

That is all. I do love y'all, though.

    Alright, what the crap.

It is actually snowhailing (soft white pieces the size of Nerds candy) out of a clear blue sky, and it's 45 degrees outside. That is not supposed to happen.

When Matt and I got married last year, many people said we were too young, and it was too soon.

Now I see the truth: we were just way, way more on the ball than most people.

Since fall semester ended, I have had 6 friends/ couples get engaged or married, with several more on the way. Every one of them is awesome, but seriously. Spread out a little!

    I love you guys! Congratulations!

New mini-poll! If you can get through it without blushing, you are probably a science major.

Spring term starts tomorrow. Blech. After this, I will walk across the stage 1 or 2 classes short of a degree. Blast. Summer school, anyone?

It makes me wonder if I should even walk in May. I think I may feel like a cheater or hypocrite. Any thoughts on that?
